Joe Cool's gathers two types of information about our users:

• Information gathered through aggregated tracking is information derived mainly from page views. Such information enables us to adapt our site content to readers' requirements and it helps us to better understand the needs of our audience demographics. Because Joe Cool's derives its revenue from air conditioning services and products, such aggregated demographic data provides us with valuable insight about what customers want and what they are interested in. Under no circumstances does Joe Cool's divulge any information about individual user/s to a third party.

Joe Cool's gathers user information via a variety of services offered to users. These services require some type of voluntary submission of personal information by users:

• Request a Quote – Joe Cool's online request a quote tool allows users who are potential or existing customers to provide personal information about themselves and their residence/premise for air conditioning to enable us to construct an accurate quote. This personal information will never be shared with any third party, unless it is one of Joe Cool's contracted specialist services (eg ceiling repair, crane service, specialist stone drilling etc) required for the completion of the air conditioning project as part of the quote or a repair associated with the installation project.
• Electronic newsletters – At times we will offer a free informational resources, blog or newsletter to users. Joe Cool's gathers email addresses of users who voluntarily subscribe. Users may remove themselves from this mailing list by emailing Joe Cool's directly or via site's Contact page.
• Reviews are often invited by Joe Cool's post sale and installation. Reviews may be independently posted by the customer and published by the user via social media profiles and sources. These reviews may be used on our site or on Joe Cool's promotional material. Reviews may also be directly written via 'Review Us' on our web site and they may be published on our site under 'Testimonials'. All reviews received or on other social media sites may be published on our site or used in Joe Cool's marketing and promotional materials.
• User surveys may be conducted to improve the content of our site, services and selection of products to our customer audience. We will never share personal information about specific individuals with any third party.

Usage Tracking

Joe Cool's tracks user traffic patterns on our sites but we do not correlate this information with individual user data. Joe Cool's breaks down overall usage statistics according to a user's domain name, browser type, and document type by reading this information from the browser string (information contained in every user's browser).

Joe Cool's may track and catalogue the search terms that users enter in our Search function, but this tracking is never associated with individual users. This tracking information helps us to determine which areas/pages of our site users like and don't like based on traffic to those areas. This helps us continue to build a better site and service for you.

Use of Information

Joe Cool's will use information provided voluntarily by our users for the purpose of enhancing their experience on our site, whether to provide interactive or personalised elements on the site or to improve future content based on the interests of our users.

Information provided by users voluntarily may be used to send out electronic newsletters and to enable users to participate in surveys, reviews and forums. We may send out informational resources and newsletters to subscribers on a regular schedule, and occasionally special publications when we believe subscribers may be interested in something new Joe Cool's is undertaking or launching. When tracking information is used to determine which pages/areas of our sites users like and don't like based on traffic to those areas, we do not track what individual users read, rather we track page performance. This helps us continue to improve and shape a better service for you. We track search terms entered into the Search function to ascertain what interests our users, but we don't track the terms a particular user enters.

We give users options to opt out of receiving ongoing informational resources or newsletters by contacting us directly in writing, email or via Contact page on our site.

Storage of Personal Information

Personal Information is stored in a manner that protects it from misuse, loss and from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.
When your personal information is no longer needed for the purpose for which it has been obtained, we will take reasonable steps to destroy your personal information
